Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Broken Horses' to release in April 2015

Bollywood's iconic filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, has given Indian cinema many blockbusters to remember, such as Munna Bhai MBBS and 3 Idiots. The director will now be releasing a Hollywood movie titled Broken Horses, which is slated to hit cinemas on April 10, 2015.

The movie stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Anton Yelchin, Chris Marquette, Maria Valverde, Thomas Jane, and Sean Patrick Flanery, among others.

According to Hindustan Times, the movie's plot revolves around US-Mexico border gang wars and aims to be a thriller about the bonds of brotherhood, the laws of loyalty, and the futility of violence.

Talking to the media, the director said in a statement: "Making a film in Hollywood was extremely challenging, it's the first time ever that an Indian has co-written, directed and produced a Hollywood film but the challenge turned out to be a lot of fun. It was very fulfilling for me as a filmmaker."

The film will be marketed and distributed by Fox Star Studios in India.
